We (Kevin & Joanne Haggerty) are the proud owners of Bill’s Bread & Breakfast. Originally
purchasing the restaurant from Bill Beausoliel in November of 1999 with a business partner,
Chuck Couture, we became the sole owners in 2004. Bill’s is very much part of our family as
this is where we first met.

The building itself has a very interesting history and has housed many great businesses through
the years. Originally built as an auto garage for Montgomery Wards, it later was the home of
CC Scoops ice cream parlor and mini golf. Yes there once was a mini golf course in our back
parking lot. At one point it was the home for Etchells race cars and some of the rafters in the
attic still bear the scars of a fire caused by one of the cars. It housed the offices of Farmer’s
home insurance and later Franco’s pizza. I’m sure that there have been other notable
businesses located here.

When we first purchased the restaurant it was only the main dining room and counter area, we
quickly expanded into the second dining room area and doubled our seating.
